The annual quiz night passed off successfully on Wednesday evening and raised over £230 for tour funds. An appreciative crowd paid homage to Noursey at the end of the night, even though 80% of his intra-round material had had to be dropped at the request of David Cameron. The old Pearl & Dean gag got another outing though and likewise Darren Panter made another trip up the front to claim first prize on behalf of his team.
Thanks are due to everyone involved in running the quiz, especially Phil but also Chilts for sacrificing his political integrity to secure the venue and also Mick & Ganj for not only scoring but also successfully using the technology provided to provide big-screen updates throughout the night.
