Northants to host international cricket in 2010

Northants have been chosen to stage two A team one-day international matches at Wantage Road next summer. New Zealand will play India on 28 June 2010 as part of a triangular tournament, before England Lions take on the Black Caps a day later. Pakistan will also visit Northampton for a Twenty20 match against the county side on 3 July.

    Good news but doesn't really compensate for the fact that Kent won't be playing a championship game there next season.
    Now that's a real loss for the Northamptonshire cricketing public !
