We always seem to get a good welcome when we traipse down to North Devon each summer and we have, of course, generally put this down to our wit, humour and general goodoldboyishness. However have you ever had the thought that maybe the genial welcome is linked to the increased chance of a home win for all the teams we play? Maybe we perform a useful service in this way, given that the teams we play seem to have found local league cricket a struggle this summer...
Newton Tracey finished 8th of 9 to be relegated from North Devon League Division 1, pipped to safety by Bideford who we have played in recent years. Newton Tracey II's meanwhile finished a creditable 4th in Division 4 and Westleigh finished 3rd in Division 3.
