Happy Birthday, Dan!

Congratulations are in order for Dan Singh who will be celebrating his 42nd birthday on Monday with a full-scale jabberwock session at his remote homestead near Bicester. There are postings on Facebook which suggest an open house for his many 'friends', invited over for a night of riotous book-reading and other like debauchery, meeting first at the bus stop outside Tesco.

Dan's early tour appearances were more notable for his frequent disappearances on the number 38 bus to Plymouth but those 'friends' seem to have got wise to that trick so he is now left with us throughout the weekend. As a result he has clocked up 32 tour games and if his run-scoring is modest he has become a mainstay of the bowling attack with over 30 wickets at a good return.

Although he is currently keeping it a secret it is widely believed that we will all be having a celebratory birthday drink on Dan in The Joiners courtesy of his recent bumper Bonus Ball win! Cheers, Dan, and a Very Happy Birthday from all of us!!!
