Newton Top as Dan Takes a Hat-Trick!

From this weeks NDJ comes the news that our very own Dan Newby continues in good form for Newton Tracey, claiming a hat-trick & 4-39 as they beat Incorrigibles to maintain their 100% record and remain top of North Devon League Division 2. Newton have won all nine of the games which they have played and lead from Beaford & Hatherleigh, whilst our other old opponents, Holsworthy, prop up the table with a played eleven, lost eleven record!

Newton Tracey II are also top of Division 4, with North Molton second and Ilfracombe bottom, so it's proving to be a good season so far at The Lawn.

Other former tour foes are having mixed results... Bideford are fourth in Division 1 and Westleigh are struggling at the bottom of Division 3, whilst Chittlehampton, as is traditional, avoid the whole league shebang entirely and no doubt continue to enjoy their cricket all the more as a result!
