With just 108 days to go before that first pint of Doom Bar, the basics of tour organisation are largely complete... thanks to Noursey & Newbs the hotel is booked and thanks to Ron the weekend fixtures are sorted. Once a Friday fixture is added and a bus procured - both in-hand - then the basics of tour will be sorted & we can just turn up and wing the rest!

However, there are a number of discretionery tasks which are normally undertaken and these are up for grabs this year as the usual postholders are indisposed. You are therefore invited to apply for one or more of the following positions :-

• Social Planning Manager
• this involves working out what to do on the Thursday (no game); Friday (evening game); and weekend (afternoon games) and making any enquiries/bookings necessary
• Equipment Officer
• this involves a lot of balls and some trophies
• Tour Chancellor
• this involves handling tour funds, taking receipt of payments, setting a budget and managing the finances before & during tour. Little blue flight bag to be provided.
• Tour Guide Editor
• this involves writing a tour guide (any format) and optionally acting as editor for any contributions from other tourists and then printing the guide for use on tour
