Memories of Devon

The result of last week's Online Poll, which asked what most reminds you of Devon, threw up the following results :-

35% said a fleet of Hockings ice cream vans on their way to Westward Ho!...

28% said an apparently homeless person going from pub to pub looking for his lost rucksack...

14% said a stale Chic-O-Land wrapper blowing in the wind in front of the tour hotel...






A different 14% said a pregnant traffic warden with moose antlers booking her first driving lesson...

... but fortunately only 7% said a string of school children skipping down Bideford High Street, singing Ferry Across The Mersey in a Scouse accent...
