Congratulations are due to Tom Seaman, who turned 16 at the weekend. Tom, the latest product of our fledgling Tour Academy, is already a veteran of two North Devon tours, having made his debut in 2007 when just 14. He says that he has learnt a lot about touring from Phil Nourse although he is a little disappointed that none of it has been to do with the cricket.
Tom is confident of selection for the 2009 Tour as he now realises that two thirds of the team we put out at Chittlehampton will need him nearby to do their fielding. He also expects to fully take over the mantle of Second Most Talented Seaman Cricketer this year and press his Uncle Andrew for the top spot in the seasons to come.
