50 Up!

Congratulations are in order to Chris Scoggins who reached his fifty over the Christmas period, marked by riotous bat-waving and a series of events all of which involved beer! Chris becomes our third half-centurion for Tour 2009 and will be found at first slip as usual come July.

Chris has been a stalwart of tour, featuring in 40 of the games over the last 15 years, taking nearly 20 wickets and making useful runs in the tail. His many other talents have notably included leading the singing on the bus, advising on where the best beer may be found and always being there or thereabouts in the putting!
