The mantle of North Devon CAMRA Pub of the Year - formerly held by The Bell in Chittlehampton - has now passed to The Duke of York in Iddesleigh. For those wondering where Iddesleigh might be, it's in the Barometer World neck-of-the-woods so there's a tour day out next summer! It seems that Father Christmas doubles as the local CAMRA Chairman and that, judging by this picture, Iddesleigh is already rather well off for village idiots. If only they had a cricket team we'd be in business...
