Welcome to the Abbey Cricket Tour website.
With thanks to Google Blogger (overseas player, RHB/RFM), it is hoped that this site will provide up-to-date information about the tour over the winter months so please save it as a Favourite and look in from time-to-time.
You should be able to add a Comment to any of the posts so please feel free to do so. If you would like to publish a Post on the site please send to The Webmaster (aka Seamo). Alternatively you can post directly to the site yourself if you have a Google logon - if you're up for that please let The Webmaster know so he can set up your access.
In the meantime, why not vote in this week's Online Poll and remind yourself of the glorious 2008 Tour in Mostyn's Gallery!
All the very best - The Webmaster

Sorry guys, I am very sad 3 of you, to date, have voted for the Chittle game in this Poll. That surely marks the end of Tour 15 apart from sampling Mark & Lynn's hospitality after the game? The most exciting Fixture has to be Sarawakians as that marks the start of next years Tour with all the other glorious fixtures yet to follow after the game and a few ales in The Joiners??
ReplyDeleteWell done Seamo on the site, glad to see something useful arise from your career break !
ReplyDeleteYou haven't got a sponsor.....how about approaching the makers of Connect 4 !
Who are the two lager louts ? I think you should name and shame !
ReplyDeleteLoving the new e-mail address Seamo !
I note a rollover tonight so ball number 23 is ready to appear again tonight no doubt !
There are three lager louts now! Sadly I cannot tell who they are but doubt that Mick or Scoggy are amongst them. Scoggy Jnr however must be a prime suspect...
ReplyDeleteSorry about ball number 23!
A merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone ! I hope that 2009 is a prosperous year for all of you as well as The Addicks although they look like most of us during a late night at The Joiners.......doomed !
ReplyDeleteRobbo and I are about to set off for Worthing for the winter tour, see you all there.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed the " Next blog " option at the top of this page. Naturally curiosity ( and boredom ) led me to do this. I wasn't expecting anything as highbrow as our own....mais, un moment, fromage frais Rodney ! It takes us to a blog administered by some art loving French sort. My French is a " petite oxidais "...bit rusty but I was able to determine that " ma photo " means my photo. If anyone can help me work out what her favourite book is I'd be grateful...Le Portrait De Dorain Gray ?
Enough excitement for one day but I can't wait to see where else the next blog button will take me !
I see that our former hotel has had to slash its prices, the effect of the credit crunch I guess.
ReplyDeleteHow they could use nearly £3k worth of trade !
Business people...what do we know !
Ahead of this year's tour I've taken the pre-caution of hiring a micro-lite in order to correctly identify each guess the ground poser next year !
ReplyDeleteTwas Seamo's birthday earlier in the week !
ReplyDeleteThe webmaster obviouslky doesn't publish his own ! Anyway beltaed happy 39th Seamo !
Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be Bruce Grobelaar !
ReplyDeleteI've just had a call from a tourist saying they'd heard that a lot of load of heavy rain is scheduled for next week.......don't worry there isn't........in fact a mini-heatwave is due!
ReplyDeleteThere, you can relax now!
Here we come !
